With the roll-out of fibre in Wellington, the Chorus technicians tend to work around power poles a lot. Here we are using the Oldfield’s 2600 series mobile tower.
This tower comes as aluminium or fibreglass, which means we are able to build a more rigid base using the aluminium and build the top lift out of fibreglass. This enables technicians to work on a sturdy surface and be protected from the electrical hazard.
